Delicious breakfast and friendly staff

Food was good and waitress provided good service, but it took over an hour to get our food. There were only 2 other tables (3 total people) in the diner when we arrived and we ordered breakfast food. We were on our way home and just stopped in for a bite and wouldve appreciated a heads up on the timing issue. Instead, when we asked, we kept getting 'it's coming out soon'.I suggest going if you have extra time to kill

Love everything about this local diner, from the food to the staff. Always have a great meal and lovely server every time we go. Delicious and divine!!

It’s behind the Wendy’s, on the back side of the building, so it’s tricky to find, but SOOOOO worth it!!! Our waitress was LITERALLY running and took EXCELLENT care of us. I’m picky about my coffee, and it was so delicious I got a cup to go! I had the steak and eggs and a side of fried green tomatoes, and the steak was tender and cooked PERFECTLY, and not paper thin, like at some restaurants. My food was hot and wonderful, and so was my wifes. She got the biscuits and gravy. We plan to go there for breakfast again tomorrow.If you’re anywhere near here, you will NOT be disappointed!

Rylie's always has good food but if you order a biscuit then butter should be served with it or have some on the table and they need to get rid of those goofy salt and pepper shakers and put regular ones on the tables, you have to shake the pepper shaker forever to get just a dab of pepper out of it and then your food gets cold so you get mad and don't leave a tip. Wise up and put real salt and pepper shakers on the tables.

They had a fantastic club sandwitch!

The breakfast was very good and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful and hard-working. Prices were reasonable. A very good breakfast experience.

Loved our breakfast here. The waitress was so busy as she was the only one serving guests. She worked so hard and we appreciate her so much. Everything was perfect!

Great food and incredible service! Some of best service ive ever recieved. Country ham is salty and great for touring cyclists. And you gotta' try the homemade pie!

A small hidden place on the back of a building. Staff was nice, but there was a long wait after we ordered.I got the 1/2 lb of crab with some hush puppies. Not really sure if this was $15 worth of crab, but maybe that's just me.Got margarine instead of butter, which is basically just oil. Not good with crab! Got it replaced with actual butter which was much better. The hush puppies were small, but really good.All in all, if I went back, I'd most likely want to order something else, but the food was edible.

I got to enjoy this dinner with the live of my life! The waitress though under the weather, was good. Our cups always filled and our meal was delicious. Before we left, we thanked the chef and had a nice light conversation. Such a cute, small diner. We definitely will stop again when we pass through

Very hit or miss. We live very close by Ruckersville, and Riley's is one of our favorite places to have brunch given the location. This is your typical country diner, and it brings along some quirks to that. While the outside isn't much to look at, the interior has a very down to earth, rustic, country vibe going for it. Most of the time they do very well with service and food quality. Service is a little slow on weekends, but the staff are always nice. The food can be hit or miss. Breakfast is typically spot on, but pancakes at least one time were very heavy and 'gritty.' We have at times had some other odd things happen, like way too much gravy covering an entire plate, causing it to turn into a giant slop bucket. But once we informed the staff they waived the entire ticket and we're very nice and apologetic to the situation.

Great place to stop for breakfast while we were traveling through. Food was good and the service was excellent, we stopped during a busy time and the waitress handled the tables with ease (even though she only had one other waitress to help out), was very timely, and checked on us often. Very welcoming place to be!

Googled our way to Rylie's this morning and it was the best breakfast my hubs and I have had in a long time! Server was super attentive. Food was top notch and prices were very fair. This place is one of those hidden gems that's hard to find, but so very worth it. Watch for the signs in the parking lots. The arrows will point the way to the best home fries you've ever tasted!

By far the best diner in Ruckersville. Super nice and competent wait staff serving plenty of good tasty food for the price (which is quite reasonable). We love the seasoning they put on the fries.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall the server was very friendly and the food was great. Everything had a homemade touch to it that you don't see much anymore. The prices were very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend.

Sorry I used to enjoy lunch here but the last 2times not so good food cold an my friend order the BBQ it was so old it was black she told the waitress an the waitress put a napkin over it an said not to say anything an took it back . Sorry won't be coming back. Good luck!

Best breakfast spot in four towns either direction on 29. Really decent staff.

Great place to eat. So glad they have reopened & will be bringing visitors from Delaware. Have never been disappointed in the food or the excellent service.

Make sure you drive down the hill after pulling into the driveway.I've been on vacation for almost a week, first to Washington DC, then to Myrtle Beach. Now I'm on my way home in NY. This is by far the best breakfast I've had the entire time.The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and quick.The only trouble was finding the place. We had to call for directions once we thought we were there but couldn't see it

Simple menu but all done perfectly. None of that faux "silver diner" ambiance - all real. Great service. Wish it were close to home.

Simply amazing home cooked food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. Service is always lovely. Have yet to have room for dessert.

Example: Asked the waitress if the strawberries on a dish were fresh not canned. I was trying to eat healthy while pregnant. She told me what I wanted to hear, but when the food came it was obvious to everyone that they came from a can. They were completely saturated.

Very friendly staff and great comfort food and prices, but nobody in the kitchen was wearing gloves or had their hair pulled back.

Just happened on this quaint place when googled breakfast nearby.We both had great, hot breakfast.Omelette & breakfast of scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, home fries (fresh cut) and toast. Reasonably priced too!

Great staff food blew my mind great place to get a good meal and relax

We went for Sunday breakfast around 9:45. We ordered chicken fried steak and a breakfast combo. Service was quick and friendly. It took about 15-20 mins for our food, so that was a bit slower than expected. The food was piping hot and tasted good, though both our potatoes (home fries and hash browns) were very greasy. So, in summary, nice service, tasty food, but slow delivery and potatoes were pretty greasy.
